Day-2

I had a restful night's sleep and woke up feeling light and refreshed. However, I've noticed that my mood has been more volatile, and I'm getting irritated more easily. Even though I haven't felt hungry, that sense of lightness remains with me.

What is Prana?

Prana can be understood as the essential "food" for the mind. Neurons utilize oxygen to create ATP, which powers mental functions. This process highlights the dynamic relationship between energy and matter—where energy transforms into matter, and vice versa.

When Prana (life force) unites with Apana (eliminating force), the combined force, known as Pranapana, embodies the concept of Ardhanarishvara, a balance of opposites.

In normal conditions:

  • Prana → Nourishment → Mind → Normal functioning.

When Prana and Apana unite:

  • Prana + Apana → Pranapana → Nourishment → Awakened mind → Enhanced personality.

However, when energy levels drop, tiredness sets in. This is particularly challenging when the body shifts from using glycogen to fat as its primary energy source. During this transition, the mind continuously signals the need to eat, leading to hunger pangs.
