Fasting
I’ve decided to abstain from consuming Anna (grains) for a set period. Fasting isn't new to me, as I've regularly observed Navratri fasts, so my body is quite accustomed to this form of tapasya (spiritual discipline). Fasting can indeed be considered a form of tapasya, where one consciously refrains from regular eating habits. I’m planning to undertake a fast for approximately 21 days.
Day 1
I haven’t had any solid food today—just a glass of lime water with a pinch of black salt. There’s a slight drop in energy, but surprisingly, no real hunger pangs. I’m planning to drink some electrolytes before bed to keep my energy up.
Physically, I’ve noticed a mild headache and a bit of fatigue, but nothing too overwhelming.
